PrayerFast: Fast & Reflect1.2.0

PrayerFast is the first fasting companion built for every liturgical Christian tradition. Whether you're Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Coptic, Ethiopian, Maronite, Chaldean, Armenian Apostolic, Syriac, or Assyrian - PrayerFast knows your fasting calendar and walks with you through every season of the Church year.

DAILY FASTING GUIDANCE
Open the app and instantly see today's fasting rule for your tradition. PrayerFast calculates the correct level - strict fast, oil and wine permitted, fish allowed, dairy allowed, feast day, or no fast - based on your specific liturgical calendar. No more guessing, no more searching. Just clear, accurate guidance every morning.

FULL LITURGICAL CALENDARS
PrayerFast includes complete fasting calendar engines for 11 traditions across 4 major branches of Christianity. Each calendar accurately computes Pascha/Easter, moveable feasts, fixed feasts, weekly fasts, and every fasting period - Great Lent, Nativity Fast, Apostles' Fast, Dormition Fast, and all tradition-specific seasons. Eastern Orthodox users can switch between the New Calendar (Revised Julian) and Old Calendar (Julian) with a single tap.

DAILY SCRIPTURE & SAINTS
Each day pairs your fasting level with carefully selected Scripture. Weekly quotes from the saints - drawn from your own tradition's spiritual fathers and mothers - offer encouragement and depth throughout every fasting season.

FASTING-APPROPRIATE MEAL IDEAS
Wondering what to cook during a strict fast? PrayerFast suggests tradition-specific meals matched to today's fasting level. From Greek lentil soup to Coptic koshari, Lebanese mujadara to Ethiopian injera - every recipe respects the rules of your tradition.

DAILY REFLECTION JOURNAL
Log how your fast went each day. Record your emotional state, track fasting adherence, and write personal reflections. Watch your reflection streak grow as you build a daily spiritual discipline. Look back on your journey through a beautiful timeline of past entries.

PRAYER MODE
A contemplative, distraction-free interface inspired by newspaper typography. Prayer Mode strips away tabs, stats, and chrome - leaving only today's fast, Scripture, saints, and your reflection. Designed for stillness.

HOME SCREEN WIDGET
See today's fasting status at a glance without opening the app. The widget displays your current fasting level, tradition, and fasting period - updated daily.

SMART NOTIFICATIONS
Morning reminders tell you today's fasting rule before your first meal. Evening reminders prompt you to reflect on the day. Notifications are personalized to your fasting level and tradition.
